To combat archetyping, we need to take ownership of our own archetyping. The Disinfolklore Universe is populated by recurring characters whose archetypal identities shape how billions of people perceive reality. Understanding these characters — their archetypes, their Mana, their role in the system — is essential to defeating Disinfolklore.

What is the nature of Druidey Don Disinfolklore the Shaman Trickster Trump’s power? Druidey Don Trump is not a Druid — the Magico-Religious caste in Celtic society. He’s Druidey in the same way he speaks Truthiness to weave us inside his Disinfolklore Universe.

Of what is Duncey Putin’s Mana composed? His energy. What is it? A Dunce is a Village Fool. An archetypal identity in Germanic culture going back millennia.

The third archetype I’m going to speak about in this talk is The Comedian — The Comedian Volodymyr Zelenskyy. What is the nature of his inspiring performance since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine?

The Three Principal Archetypes

  • Druidey Don — The MAGA Magus. Shaman-trickster who speaks “Truthiness” to weave the Disinfolklore Universe around us.
  • Duncey Putin — The archetypal Dunce. Like Raskolnikov, a fool who never learns, trapped in cycles of repetition.
  • The Comedian — Zelenskyy as positive archetype. A 21st-century Positive Troll who inspires and unites.

The Supporting Cast

  • Chief Sorcerer & Chef Saucerer — Putin and Prigozhin as War Magus partnership: master and apprentice in a millennium-old Indo-European myth.
  • Maid Maryon Simonyan — Russia’s chief Baba Yaga of Disinfolklore. The voice of the propagation apparatus.

Why Character Studies Matter

Disinfolklore is not an abstract system — it operates through characters. “Quite serious people impute into the character I call Duncey Putin or Russia the characteristics of the bear. They do it unconsciously.” The Character Studies make this process conscious, applying Tool 1: Archetypal Disinfolklore Literacy to the figures who dominate our information environment.
