Frontline Reports
The bridge. The Mother and the Maiden. The cottage in the woods. The MGB. Direct observations from the front lines of Disinfolklore — eastern Ukraine, where the author first encountered the phenomenon and where the framework was born.
The Bridge at Stanitsia Luhanska
The entire Disinfolklore framework originates from a specific place: the pedestrian bridge at Stanitsia Luhanska in eastern Ukraine, where the author witnessed the population living under Russian occupation being embedded in Disinfolklore in real time. These frontline reports are the raw field observations that became the Twelve Tools.
It fed my intuition that Ruschia uses folktales to brainwash, whether in the form of hyper modern news stories delivered directly into our minds via Telegram, or through repurposing actual folk tales.
