2013-2014: Russia pays corrupt Ukrainian police and Titushka to violently attack genuine protesters. Russia-fomented violence used as pretext for intervention.\n>\n> 2023-03-12: “The first Ukrainian word I learned was ‘Titushka.’ Nowadays, a Titushka is any astroturf protester who, like the current pro-Russia demonstrators in Moldova, is paid to create tumult, foment anti-democratic revolution.”\n>\n> 2025-06-27: “Russia rearchetyped its soldiers in Ukraine as ‘Separatists.’ We fell for the troll. Today, Russia, Iran and China use Telegram and TikTok to rear-battle its soldiers as ‘Pro-Palestinian’ activists.”
