Muscovy has a decades long record of self-provocations. It’s hard-wired into its governance structures’ models. There is no evidence Ukraine has mainstreamed similar self-provocation logic cycle routines into its military or civilian personal or collective decision-making structure.

Self-provocation is not an aberration but a DOCTRINE — hard-wired into Russia’s governance structures. The ultimate innovation of wife-beater logic: you do not even need the other party to do anything. Provoke yourself, blame them, and you have your casus belli ready-made.
