This passage exposes the full provocation logic applied to migration. Russia carpet-bombs Syrian civilians, generating a million refugees flowing into Europe. Then Russia’s allies exploit anti-immigrant sentiment to win elections. The same cycle applies to Ukraine’s 8 million displaced. The Coercive Control is double: first, the violence that creates the flows; second, the political exploitation of the fear those flows generate. “Rinse and repeat” — the phrase itself captures the industrial, mechanised quality of this particular form of CC.
