The linguistic-philosophical claim that underpins the entire framework: before the author coined “Mana” as a term for the energy exchanged in communication, there was no way to isolate and examine it. Naming creates control. Once you have a word for the energy Disinfolklore manipulates, you can “meditate on and control” those exchanges. This is the bridge between Mana as concept and Counter-Disinfolklore as applied method — the concept is what makes the method possible.
