The Closed Doom Loop

This is how powerful an Information Galaxy can become. I call such stories as that recounted here by Putin “Archetypal Disinfolklore” because immanent in them are these same archetypes as appear in millions of other stories inside the Russian Information Galaxy, with slight variations in monikers, settings, and circumstances — “Neo-Nazis,” “bunch of Junkies,” “hostages,” “Ultra-Nationalists,” “human shields,” “children, wives and elders,” and Good Soldiers (“servicemen”). Immanent in such Disinfolklore, again with slight variations, almost every time they’re repeated, is an identical archetypal structure, which is completely preposterous yet believed in by most Russians and as far as we can know even by Putin himself.
