Fluidity Between Culture and Cold Steel
While living and working inside Russia’s military occupation of Ukraine’s Luhansk province, I noticed the fluidity between, on the one hand, culture, folklore, music, short-form videos, art, films, faery tale and computer lore trolls, perfectly architected “news” stories and, on the other hand, the cold steel reality of a murderous, absurd, and disgusting authoritarian military occupation.
