Ukraine Archetyped Through Feminine Traits
Russian Disinfolklore portrays Ukraine according to traditionalist feminine traits. Decadent, EuroGay, weak, emotional, easily led Ukraine would be easy to scare, rape, tie-up and take through relentless gas-lighting. The problem for the Ruschist is not that Ukraine is weak but that she is strong.

The gendering is deliberate and systematic: Ukraine is assigned every trait the patriarchal mindset associates with “feminine” — decadent, emotional, easily led. But the passage delivers its own reversal: “The problem for the Ruschist is not that Ukraine is weak but that she is strong.” Ukraine’s strength is precisely what the gendered archetype cannot accommodate.
