They Were Shooting at Mirrors
“They were shooting at mirrors. We know everything.” — Ukrainian civilian from a village released from Russian occupation. Russian soldiers shot at mirrors. The occupiers destroyed the physical mirrors in Ukrainian homes — a literal manifestation of the Accusation in a Mirror strategy. If mirrors reveal truth, then destroying mirrors = destroying the capacity to see truth.
