Don’t Poke the Bear — Most Successful Targeting Meme

The don’t poke the bear troll, the meme, ‘Don’t Poke the Bear’, is probably the most successful Disinfolklore meme ever. And it’s so successful that international relations majors and those who advised, for instance, both Republican and Democrat presidents in the United States, for decades were and are animated by this meme. And we sometimes think that the meme, Don’t Poke the Bear, corresponds to some meaning system apart from the metaphor itself. But in my humble opinion, it doesn’t. It is simply that.
