That act of submission is done. Putin and those he serves publicly submitted on Saturday evening. He kissed the Chef’s ring. Everything else is mere shadow play.

In a single compressed tweet, the author inverts the entire spectacle of the Prigozhin mutiny. What mainstream media framed as Putin’s mastery (the rebellion was “handled”) is decoded as the opposite: Putin submitted, kissed the Chef’s ring. Everything the audience consumed after that — the negotiations, the exile, the narratives of control — was “mere shadow play.” The real power shift happened offstage; the spectacle was the coverup.
