This is the third aspect of Stealth Genocide: Russia (or more properly its European Muscovite core) uses its subject peoples as cannon fodder in Ukraine.

Stealth genocide extends beyond Ukraine. Russia weaponises its own minorities — Buryats, Dagestanis, Tuvans — as cannon fodder. The Muscovite core sacrifices its subject peoples in a colonial war, framed as patriotic sacrifice rather than the disposal of expendable minorities.
