Odysseus at Kerch — Crimea as Gateway to the Underworld
What Medvedyev and Odysseus Got In Common? Both entered the Underworld / Hades via a cave located off Kerch, Crimea. Odysseus accesses the underworld at the far northern edge of the Black Sea at the Straits of Kerch. Now, Medvedyev cites the Law of Manu (Manusmriti) India’s ancient law code first written down around 600 CE. The Welshman who discovered the existence of the Indo-European family of languages was translating the Laws of Manu when he made this discovery.

Connects the Trito Myth to Finding Manuland: Crimea as a liminal space between worlds (like the boundary Trito crosses to confront the serpent). Medvedyev’s citation of the Laws of Manu — the same text that led to the discovery of the Indo-European language family — shows how even Russia’s leaders unconsciously access the deep structure.
