Positive Trolling
Emotion-moving activity that passes the Code of Positive Trolls. When a meme, communication, or activity passes all six criteria — Generosity, Ethical Discipline, Patience, Mana/Energy, Mindfulness/Focus, and Insight/Wisdom — it is Positive. The output of Positive Trolling is Infolklore: the constructive twin of Disinfolklore.
The Definition
Proofing any communication with the six elements of the Code of Positive Trolls (Generosity, Right/Ethos, Patience, Mana, Focus, Insight) enables us to identify the qualities of any meme/informational unit. It also enables us to ensure our outgoing communications are Positive (Infolklore), not Negative (Disinfolklore).

If any informational unit being assayed conforms to all six of these criteria, it is Positive (Counter Disinfolklore).

Positive Trolling is not merely the absence of Negative Trolling. It is the active practice of communicating with generosity, ethical discipline, patience, joyous perseverance, mindfulness, and wisdom. Every outgoing communication is a troll — the Code ensures it is a Positive one.
Everyone Already Trolls Positively
A troll can be a person, a personality, an activity or any activity of body, speech, or mind which contains an emotion-moving meme. A flick of an eyebrow, a wave of a finger or mere words can act as a troll.

A parent comforting a child is Positive Trolling. A teacher illuminating a student is Positive Trolling. An advertisement that genuinely informs is Positive Trolling. We already do this constantly — the Code of Positive Trolls simply makes the practice conscious and gives it a method for self-checking.
The Outgoing Troll Radar
Build mental resilience to falling for Negative Trolls, by using the Code to determine the quality of an incoming or outgoing troll as being Positive, Negative, or Neutral.

The Outgoing Troll Radar is the instrument for ensuring your own trolling is Positive. Before you share, post, or speak, run the communication through the Code. If it passes: share it. You are contributing to Infolklore.
