Surkov Uses Archetypes as Fig Leaves
The really insightful thing from this piece in InformNapalm from Tetiana Boryak, which helped me a lot, was this statement from Surkov in his writings, where he talks about how Russia uses the archetypes of national consciousness as fig leaves to disguise their mental imperialism.

The adversary’s own theorist (Surkov) confirms the Way of Seeing. Russia consciously uses archetypes as “fig leaves” to disguise imperial ambition. The Russkiy Mir concept is the archetype; the reality is naked imperialism. Seeing through the fig leaf IS the Way of Seeing.
