Meme, Informational Unit, Troll

I’m 100% comfortable with using the term ‘meme.’ I use the term ‘meme’ interchangeably with the term ‘informational unit’ and also with the term ‘troll,’ where troll is describing the item of Disinfolklore or the item of information.

‘Meme,’ for me, is more than simply the visual image. What I call informational units (which are communicated in cultures in the same way that genes, or the genome are communicated biologically).

Like genes in biology, memes replicate, mutate and compete for survival in cultures. Disinfolklore harnesses this process deliberately.
