The Jan 6 Anthem: Herder’s Method Today

In 1777 Johann Herder sparked the movement to create a sense of German identity through the collection of folksongs. The Brothers Grimm, Goethe and later Wagner answered that call. Whether intentionally or not Patel’s hacking of this methodology to create community among the Jan 6 insurrectionists and inside MAGA is what brought him to the particular attention of Druidey Don. Had Biden or his advisers understood the power of Disinfolklore, like the Jan 6 Anthem, perhaps his campaign might have done a better job at creating counter Disinfolklore.
