Why This Tale?

Immediately after Three Billy-Goats’ Gruff was first translated into English, it captured the imagination of children and parents alike. It’s difficult for any one to explain why it of hundreds of traditional troll tales should have had such an effect on our culture, except by reference to its essential role in delivering, in a manner similar to Cinderella and other popular folktales, essential Archetypes which help us navigate and orientate ourselves throughout the entirety of our social lives. The Archetypes communicated through this story work beneath the level of consciousness, using precisely the same means as MAGA and Russian Disinfolklore is architected to.
