The Twilit Moment

When brilliantly astute analysts struggle for a new vocabulary and adequate metaphors to describe our current epoch, we know we have a problem. It’s time to understand what is different about this age over previous authoritarian twilit moments.

I only see the systemic nature of the Disinfolklore Universe enveloping us, because I lived in Russia-occupied Ukraine between 2015 and 2018. Today, comparing Druidey Don Disinfolklore Trump’s Made-for-TV Cabinet meetings with the Office, the Apprentice or even the Truman Show is the best we can do. Until, that is, we begin to understand the totality of the system enveloping us inside a Disinfolklore Universe.
