Tool 7: Generosity
The first element of the Code of Positive Trolls and the most powerful single-question test in the Counter Disinfolklore arsenal. Of all six criteria, Generosity is the most immediately useful for on-the-fly detection because “authoritarian-minded trolls are almost always mean.” It is both the primary filter and the most readily available antidote. When you have no time to apply all six elements, apply this one.
