“The Most Important Element”
Ethical discipline is the most important element in the Code of Positive Trolls and in my work. And I try to stick rigidly to that. Obviously I fail a lot, but that’s my aspiration and what people pointed out. I try to make up for that. For me, the memes or the ends do not justify the memes.

Understanding that any activity of body, speech or mind, which engages emotions, is trolling. In short? ‘Ethical Discipline’ as 1 of 6 elements in the Code of Positive Trolls means that ends don’t justify means. Means of conveying insight MUST not be concealed, for example.

The principle is absolute — ends never justify means, means of conveying insight must not be concealed — but the practice acknowledges human fallibility.
