The Unguarded Mind

Trump is consciously and deliberately a cartoon, pantomime villain. This is how he normalises authoritarian mental routines, and injects them into the minds of unsuspecting Americans. Soon we take on the ideas embedded in these memes, we allow into our unguarded minds, as our own thoughts: we think of a Trump victory against 91 criminal indictments as inevitable. We invest in Ruschia a child-like faith in its capacity, like transformers, to tear at the fabric of reality and win in Ukraine. We imbibe Disinfolklore without knowing it, and we project the rules and routines it embeds in our minds.

Purpose of such memes created by and propagated by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) apparatchiks and their Disinfolklore propagation apparatus (e.g. TikTok) is to get into your mind. If then you share these memes, you’re perpetuating these trolls in precisely the manner these items of Disinfolklore’s designers mean you to.

The unguarded mind takes in Disinfolklore “without knowing it” and adopts its ideas “as our own thoughts.” The Trump cartoon normalises authoritarianism. TikTok delivers CCP Disinfolklore. The mechanism is always the same: breach the mental defences, inject the meme, let it commingle with the target’s Mana until it becomes indistinguishable from their own thought. Tool 11 is the defence.
