The Troll Radar as Mindfulness Mechanism

The Incoming/Outgoing Troll Radars, which is the second tool — that, obviously, when you’re on Twitter, should always be switched on, because everything there could be a troll; it could be there to affect our emotions and hack our rational thought processes. But the overall idea that it communicates is fear and this negative mood which has the power to overcome our radars, so that we allow this in — even just wondering, “Why is she talking about nuclear ashes?” And it goes into our inner mind, and we start getting worried.

The Troll Radar must be “always switched on” on Twitter (now X) because “everything there could be a troll.” But powerful Disinfolklore — nuclear fear, for instance — can “overcome our radars.” Even wondering “why is she talking about nuclear ashes?” is enough for the meme to enter your Inner Mind. Tool 11 demands that we notice the breach as it happens and retrace how it occurred. See War Magic.
