Flies in Spider’s Webs

You don’t expect CNN or your best friend, unbeknownst to themselves, to be the bearers of Disinfolklore which has the effect of transforming your moods, attitudes, intentions and motivations in the precise way Disinfolklore designers intended their War Magical tales to impact you.

Our leaders, like most of us before we learn to see through the lenses of Disinfolklore, get so wrapped up inside Russian or MAGA troll universes, it’s almost like Spiderman has cast a web so tightly moored around our bodies and minds that we can’t even get enough perspective to see how trapped we are inside a Disinfolklore Universe; or of what a Disinfolklore Universe consists.

In Our Disinfolklore Universe, we become like so many flies in spider’s webs wrapped in endless Matryoshka (Russian) dolls made of gossamer strands woven so tightly we can no longer breathe.

So, I guess, it’s understandable when even those to whom we entrust global security have their own moods, intentions, motivations and attitudes also unknowingly hacked by Disinfolklore.

Source: Disinfolklore Universes

One of the most vivid passages in the corpus. The Spiderman-web and Matryoshka-doll metaphors capture how Disinfolklore Universes operate: we become “flies in spider’s webs” wrapped in layers we cannot even perceive. The critical insight is that trusted sources — CNN, friends, even security leaders — transmit MIMA-altering content unknowingly. The enemy is not the messenger but the invisible architecture that shapes what the messenger carries.
