M-N- in Dumplings Across Eurasia

“Solution to the great Mongolian dumpling mystery. Tis cut and dried in my humble opinion. Since the sacred M-N- sound is in the Ukrainian name for dumpling - pel’meni, Anatolian: Manti, Shanghai: Mantua and Korean: Mandu, it’s clear this is an Indo-European innovation. M-N- sound words are THE characteristic of the Indo-European cultural zone which includes Mongolia (despite Mongolia’s late adoption of a Turkic lingua-franca, it remains Buddhist which of course is an Indo-European religion). M-N- is even the main sound in Mongolia’s moniker. Mystery solved. Q.E.D.”
