This is not a claim about one influence among many. Ancient Ukrainian is the ONLY precursor language from which all modern IE languages can be uniquely traced. No other candidate — Greek, Latin, Sanskrit — has this property. The evidence is archaeological, linguistic, genetic, and mythological.
